Discord is extremely programmer-friendly, which means that they welcome any and all bot creators and game developers. If you’re not experienced enough to program a bot, you might consider adding a bot to your Discord sever. What do bots do? Bots are programmed users which can accept commands and entertain you, so in this guide, we go over the process of adding a bot to your Discord server.
Step 1. Visit Top.gg
Top.gg is a website where you can rank and install bots to your Discord server. Click on the link embedded.
Step 2. Log In
After clicking the link above, log-in to Top.gg with your Discord credentials.
Step 3. Search Your Bot Up
Whilst on the site, search your desired bot up (i.e TacoShack) and click on the result you want. Doing so will bring you to a page showing descriptions and information about the bot.
Step 4. Invite The Bot Over To Your Server
On the top right, there’s a button to invite the bot over to your server. Click it, and you’ll be greeted with this screen:
And that’s all you need to do! Click “Authorize” and you’ll have the bot in your server to use and play with!
