Fortnite: Battle Royale – Jonesy Snapshot Quests Guide

The Chapter 2, Season 6 Battle Pass has a ton of quests and challenges for us to tackle, and one set revolves around Agent Jones! The semi-mysterious, semi-irresponsible IO agent present in live events and cutscenes in the past has finally become an outfit in the Season 6 Battle Pass, and he has a ton of edit styles based off his various ventures across realities from last season. In this guide, we go over how to complete his snapshot quests and how to unlock his edit styles.

How To Unlock The Snapshot Quests

The Snapshot quests are unlocked by reaching edit styles for the Jones’ Field Pack back bling in the Pass. Unlocking each edit style allows you to complete a quest, as presented here. Credit to @iFireMonkey on Twitter for the image.

Cheat Sheet

Quest 1: Investigate An Anomaly In Lazy Lake

The first quest, asked by Lara Croft, has us go to the blue house in Lazy Lake, and in the basement, there’s this artifact table. You’ll need to do this in a pattern: Red, Purple, Blue, Green. An anomaly will spawn, which you need to interact with to unlock the Jump 15 edit style for Agent Jones, based off his appearance in the Walking Dead crossover cinematic.

Quest 2: Investigate An Anomaly In Shark Island

The second quest, asked by Tarana, has us go to the abandoned Shark island, otherwise known as Sharky Shell, to follow the orders of some holograms. The first one will require you to crouch, the second to emote, and the third to jump. You must do it in this order. Completing the challenge will reward you with the Jump 23 edit style for Agent Jones, based off his appearance in the Terminator crossover cinematic.

Quest 3: Investigate An Anomaly In Catty Corner

The third quest, asked by Raz, has us go to the abandoned Catty Corner, but the anomaly’s actually at the mysterious **REDACTED** bunker. Follow the anomaly all the way to the nearby vault, and by it, you will find one of TNTina’s old explosives from Chapter 2, Season 2. Drop the explosive at the vault door and ignite it, which will open it and allow you to interact with the anomaly. Completing the challenge will reward you with the Jump 31 edit style for Agent Jones, based off his appearance in the Street Fighter crossover cinematic.

Quest 4: Investigate An Anomaly In Stealthy Stronghold

The fourth quest, asked by Cluck, has us go to the Stealthy Stronghold POI added last season. There, you will find a butterfly rift which you should follow until you make it disappears. There should be a river nearby with a lump of dirt on the ground, so you should dig it and interact with the anomaly. Completing the challenge will reward you with the Jump 42 edit style for Agent Jones, based off his appearance in the Alien crossover cinematic and in the Season 6 launch trailer.

Quest 5: Investigate An Anomaly In Weeping Woods

The fifth and final quest, asked by Rebirth Raven, has us go to Weeping Woods, specifically, at the new tree stump added this season. A rift butterfly will spawn at the bottom, and you should follow it to the top of the stump and build a small ramp, where you will be greeted by the anomaly, which you should interact with. Completing the challenge will reward you with the Jump 88 edit style for Agent Jones.
