Chapter 2, Season 6 is literally right around the corner, and Epic is doing an extremely good job at keeping things under wraps – almost every season before has had some accidental leak involved, from the theme of Chapter 2, Season 3 being unintentionally revealed by PlayStation, to the entire concept of Chapter 2 being accidentally announced by iOS. Despite this, we have gotten leaks and teasers hinting at the crossover with a Brazilian football player by the name of Naymar.
Yesterday, Fortnite posted a cryptic teaser on their YouTube and Twitter pages – which could also be seen in-game. The teaser has John Jones talk about how he believes IO abandoned him, but the images present are certainly the most interesting part. We see various images of Jonesy in different settings and seasons, some wolf teeth, and a mysterious figure with a 10 emblem, next to what appears to be a football.
Brazilian football player Neymar also has a 10 on his jersey, but wait – there’s more! He recently tweeted out the same transmission embedded above, but with eye emojis. It’s quite evident that he will be a part of Season 6 – but will he be in the Item Shop or the Battle Pass?
