After the experiment that was Chapter 2, Season 4, it appears that DC wants to get some love from the million-dollar company known as Epic Games. This year already brought us Arrowverse outfits like Green Arrow and The Flash, but Detective Comics isn’t done yet – They want to collaborate with Fortnite with new themed comic books, and in this guide, we talk about them.
These storyline will begin on April 20, 2021, and will be available on DC Universe Infinite. Donald Mustard, chief creative director at Epic Games, is working with writer Christos Gage (Who scripted Spider-Geddon for Marvel Comics) and will be available in 6 parts.
After speaking with Donald and discovering just how deeply we’d be diving into the secrets behind the world of Fortnite, I was amazed! This series will reveal things about Fortnite that have never been seen or heard before yet are very much part of the canon of the game.Christos Gage
The story follows Batman, Catwoman and Harley Quinn coming into the Loop once more, struggling to remember his origins and purposes, just like with Thor in the Nexus War comic.
As [Batman] fights to recall his past and escape an endless loop of chaos and struggle, he’ll come face-to-face with the likes of Renegade Raider, Fishstick, Bandolier, and more. While the world’s greatest detective strives to make sense of this strange new world, he’ll uncover the shocking truth about the Island, what lies beyond the Loop, and how everything is connected to the mysterious Zero Point.DC Press Release
If you order the print version of the comics, you will be able to earn a code. Each code brings in a new cosmetic item, with the first being DC Rebirth Harley Quinn pictured below. Collecting every comic and redeeming every code unlocks an exclusive “Armored Zero Point” Batman outfit when the finale releases on July 6.
