The secret outfit for Chapter 2, Season 5’s Battle Pass in Fortnite has been revealed, and, as predicted, it is the Predator. This may have come as a shock to some, but since we have seen many teasers and leaks hinting towards his appearance over at the Stealthy Stronghold location, it’s not all too surprising. Like the Deadpool, Aquaman and Wolverine outfits from seasons before, we have new challenges to tackle. In this guide, we go over all the Jungle Hunter challenges in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Find Mysterious Pod
There is a mysterious pod located in Stealthy Stronghold, a jungle with too many Predator references to count. Bandolier is asking us to check out the Predator’s pod in the area. Doing so will reward you with the Predator banner.
Talk To Beef Boss, Remedy And Dummy
Beef Boss, Remedy and Dummy are all characters, which are the new NPCs added this season. I have no idea why Bandolier wants us to talk to those three in particular, but nonetheless, you can track down their locations with our nearly-complete NPC guide. Talking to all three of them will reward you with the Plasma Caster Reticle emoticon.
For this next challenge, Remedy wants us to collect the medkits found across the map. If you’re having difficulty finding any, perhaps consider queuing into the Team Rumble playlist – where loot of all types is common and can easily be found.
Defeat The Predator
The Predator is now officially a boss in Stealthy Stronghold, and this challenge is pretty difficult. I would recommend waiting a week to do this challenge, because as of now, Stealthy is pretty crowded. Plus, the Predator is pretty hard to eliminate as well. He can go invisible and can run away, however, you can notice him moving sometimes, and if you aim at his invisible form, your crosshair will turn red. Plus, if you have visual audio on, and you see footsteps with no one around, chances are that’s him! Defeating him will not only earn you his invisibility cloak as an item, but also his outfit and the ability to do the rest of his challenges.
Complete A Bounty As Predator
After equipping the Predator outfit, your next objective is to complete a bounty with his outfit on. Bounties can be offered by certain NPCs, and allows you to hunt for other players within a 5-6 minute time limit. Opening up the map will also give you a vague-ish idea of where your target is, so be sure to stay on track and not get distracted. Completing a bounty will earn you the Hunter’s Trophy back bling.
Spend 30s Within 10m Of A Player As Predator
Your next challenge is to stand within 10 meters of a player (I don’t know if it has to be an enemy or not, but I’m pretty sure it does) for 30 seconds. To check how far you are, you can use a waypoint to calculate the distance. Doing this will earn you the Yaujta Wristblades harvesting tools.
Deal Damage While Thermal Is Active As Predator
Thermal activity can be activated by eating Thermal Fish. These fishy items can be earned by fishing spots and allow your vision to be all inverted. You need to deal some damage while in this effect, so it’s best to eat the fish whilst in a Team Rumble firefight! Doing so will earn you the Hunter’s Arsenal wrap.
Collect Legendary Weapons Or Rarer
Despite popular belief, you don’t have to collect weapons ONLY. Legendary items or rarer in general work perfectly fine, like the thermal fish I was talking about earlier. Collecting one of these items will earn you the Hunt loading screen.
Visit Predator’s Apartment In Hunter’s Haven As The Predator
Hunter’s Haven has updated to include an apartment for the Predator himself. All you need to do for this challenge is visit his home with the Predator outfit equipped to earn the Bio-Helmet Removal built-in emote, which removes the Predator’s mask. Credit to IGN for the image below.
